Forest Gayte Pride Lectures: Kelly Drake – Becoming and Being a Queer Parent

Join Forest Gayte Pride CIC this LGBT+ History Month as they celebrate ‘Activism and Social Change.’

Kelly Drake

A dynamic speaker and a Forest Gate solo dyke mum of three. A former Third Sector CEO, social worker and counsellor she now walks the tightrope trying to navigate parenting with her work as a coach, an artist a writer and activist. In this session Kelly will mix storytelling and her lived experience to extract some core themes she’s encountered on her journey. Expect a fun participatory session about parenting, identity, and reinvention.

This final session will explore Queer families and activism.
