Forest Gate Pride presents Kick Down The Closet!

Forest Gate Pride is thrilled to be hosting the grand finale event of Newham LGBT+ History month as part of Kick Down The Closet! Come along to enjoy dancing, extracts from the hit play, The Lesbians of Forest Gate, and a set from the extraordinary Sadie Sinner – founder and curator of The Cocoa Butter Club and The Black Burlesque School. Their seamless repertoire of RnB, Blues, Jazz, Motown, Funk and Neo-soul is sure to get everyone dancing the night away!
Kick Down The Closet has been at the heart of queer life in Newham for a decade, and remains the binding thread of our community. It is a queer, friendly, social event series held monthly at the Forest Tavern.
