CAYA Film Project
Come As You Are (CAYA) invite you to take part in a film making project. Get behind the lens and explore key figures from LGBTQIA+ history, discovering moments of radical queer joy and creative acts of resistance.
You will have the chance to:
- get creative
- work with a professional queer film artist
- develop skills in film directing, editing, in front of and behind the lens
Who is it for?
9-25 yr old, LGBTQIA+ & questioning young people
When is the project taking place?
Thursday 26 Jan, 5.30-7.30pm (Introductory Session)
Thursday 2 February, 5.30-7.30pm
Thursday 9 February, 5.30-7.30pm
Tues 14 February (Half term), 11am-5pm
Thursday 16 February (Half term), 11am-5pm
This project has been codesigned with young people.
CAYA is developed with, for, and by LGBTQIA+ and questioning young people [9-25yrs]. We aim to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental place where young people can be themselves, meet other LGBTQIA+ young people, have fun taking part in activities, and influence change in the community.
