Supporting Trans People of Colour

Thursday 16 February, 6.30-8pm

A conversation with Sabah Choudrey, author of Supporting Trans People of Colour: How to Make Your Practice Inclusive. Join us for a discussion about their work, writing and practice.

Supporting Trans People of Colour uses case studies, tips, checklists and anonymous survey results to set out best practice for any professionals working with trans people to create safer spaces, support and awareness.

This event will be facilitated by Travis Alabanza, award winning writer, performer and theatre maker. Their work surrounding gender, trans identity and race has been noted internationally, giving talks at universities including Oxford, Harvard, Bristol and more.

This event will have BSL interpretation.
