We would be delighted if you could join us for this amazing event with Michael Cashman, the charmingly fresh-faced, somehow ageless actor who played Colin in EastEnders. Michael was involved in the first gay kiss in a soap opera, went on to become a gay activist then an MEP, and is now a member of the House of Lords. The title of his memoir , One Of Them tells us that Michael’s sexuality is central to his identity, and it is true that he has been absolutely fearless in proclaiming it.
Michael will be in conversation with Rohit Dasgupta, author, academic and Labour Party councillor.
Books will be available to buy and will be signed by Michael at the end of the event.
